The Drumline is part of the DNHS Music Program. We perform with the Marching Band at all Friday night home football games. During the fall season, we compete against other high school music programs at tournaments throughout San Diego and Southern California.

After the Marching Band season is over, Winter Drumline begins, under the instruction of our Percussion Director(s). Winter Drumline is an extracurricular group that performs in six to eight American Drum Line Association (ADLA) competitions from February through April. Membership is open to students involved in the DNHS Music Program (current members of Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, or Orchestra).

Regular attendance is a requirement. Students accruing two unexcused absences will be removed from the group for the remainder of the year. Unexcused absences include missing for homework or work reasons.
